COLLY MOHLABINE

My name is Colly Mohlabine. I have been a guide at Sunway Safari’s since 2015. Before joining Sunway I worked for Sabi Sand at Kruger National Park. I enjoy walking tours as I get to share my knowledge of different African cultures and my love for nature. In this industry I have been inspired by Andre Van Zyl and Ben Cole from Sabi Sand. I aspire to be like them by writing books about the bush and training people about guiding. I left Sabi Sand to join Kapama Private Game Reserve where I met Trevor Carnaby, the writer of the book Beat about the Bush. Trevor has worked in the whole of Southern Africa as a guide before he became a book writer for animals, birds, trees etc. Today I’m blessed to have met Andre, Ben and Trevor. I’m thriving to excel in my passion for nature, and go above and beyond so I can make my role models proud.
