KALUNGA BANDA

Kalunga was born in 1979 and grow up in the northern part of Zambia (Ndola). He started school in 1986 and completed in 1998. After school he moved to Lusaka the capital city of Zambia where he did a course in clearing and forwarding customs freight business. Because of his love of nature he started studying guiding in 2003 and learnt animal behaviour, reptiles, birds and vegetation .In 2005 he joined Susi and Chuma lodge as guide and did game drives, walking safaris and boat cruises on the Zambezi river for four years. Thereafter Kalunga worked at Tongabezi lodge as a guide before joining bush truck Africa (Zambia). Once Kalunga decided that he wanted to move to South Africa he joined Sunway Safaris. He loves guiding for Sunway because he get to see different countries and see how other Africans live. He loves sharing this with the clients as it is fun and enjoyable. When home in Zambia, Kalunga plays midfield in his local football team. Kalunga supports Arsenal and his national side, the Chipolopo team that recently won the Africa Cup of Nations.
