Botswana is considered Southern Africa’s premier game viewing destination. Get the best wilderness experience in Southern Africa by bush walk, game drive - and even by dug-out canoe. Cruise past hippos in the Okavango Delta and watch thirsty elephants at the river in Chobe National Park. End with a very grand finale: Victoria Falls.
Day 1 JOHANNESBURG to KHAMA RHINO SANCTUARY [chalets - LD]
(B=breakfast, L=lunch D=dinner)
Departing Johannesburg at 06:30am we head north into Botswana and the Khama Rhino Sanctuary. The Khama Rhino Sanctuary Trust is a community based wildlife project established in 1992 to assist in saving the vanishing rhino, restore an area formerly teeming with wildlife to its previous natural state and provide economic benefits to the local Botswana community through tourism and the sustainable use of natural resources. This reserve situated on the Kalahari sandveld, has several natural waterholes and provides prime habitat for white rhino, zebra and wildebeest.
Day 2 MAUN [lodge BL-]
We drive through the Kalahari to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. Since Maun’s founding in 1915 as the capital of the Motswana people, it has had a reputation as a hard-living ‘Wild West’ town helping the local cattle ranching and safari operations. The name Maun is derived from the San word ‘maung’, which translates ‘the place of short reeds’.
Day 3 - 4 OKAVANGO DELTA [tented camp x2 BLD]
We drive into the Okavango Delta to the launch station where we board our mekoro’s and pole to our tented camp in the heart of the largest inland delta in the world. This amazing environment has large numbers of red lechwe, buffalo, elephant and birds, particularly kingfishers! One of the best experiences in the Okavango Delta is to be poled along reed-lined channels in a mokoro (dug-out canoe). Sit back and relax as the water gurgles gently under the mokoro while your skilled poler points out the fauna and flora.
Day 5, 6, 7, 8 MOREMI [3x tented bush camp BLD, 1x lodge BL-]
We take an open 4WD into Moremi Game Reserve for fantastic game viewing! Chief's Island is the largest landmass within Moremi and was the Batswana tribe's richest hunting ground, before being declared a game reserve by the tribe. We spend 4 days on game drives watching the abundant wildlife including elephant, hippo, buffalo, lion & other game, both in Moremi Game Reserve and in private concession reserves surrounding the park.
We return to Maun midday on day 8 for an evening restaurant meal (own expense).
Day 9 MAKGADIKGADI PANS [tented lodge or chalets BL -]
We have time for an optional game flight over the Okavango (own expense) before we head to Nata. The shimmering saltpans of Makgadikgadi appear as a glaring white, endless plain. When the rain comes a dramatic change takes place as thousands of wildebeest and zebra migrate to the sweet nutritious grasslands and clouds of flamingo feed in its algae rich waters. It is an area of low rainfall so this spectacle only lasts a short while. (Please note due to high rainfall in the area over the last few years that there is water in the section of the pans we visit)
Day 10 – 11 CHOBE NATIONAL PARK [lodge BL -]
The Chobe River is a stunning feature of Botswana and will be the focus of our lodge stay. The Chobe River flows lazily along the northern boundary of the Chobe National Park attracting some of the largest herds of elephant in Africa. Early morning 4WD game drive in the Chobe National Park and an afternoon game viewing “sundowner” cruise to see the mighty elephant herds return to the Chobe River to quench their thirst.
Day 12 – 13 VICTORIA FALLS (ZIMBABWE) [hotel Bx2 - -]
We visit “Mosi oa Tunya” or “the smoke that thunders” - Victoria Falls. These magnificent falls are one of the seven natural wonders of the world. A rich and fertile rain forest, fed by the spray or “smoke”, surrounds the falls attracting colourful birdlife. Opportunities to white water raft on the mighty Zambezi River, bungi jump, or take a “flight of angels” (own expense).
Day 14 VICTORIA FALLS – TOUR ENDS [- B - -]
Tour ends after breakfast at 08:00am.
This tour departs at 06:30 from the pre-tour accommodation hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa. You will therefore need to fly into OR Tambo International airport (JNB) in Johannesburg the day before the tour starts. (Depending on your flight arrival time, you can book an own expense, optional afternoon excursion to either SOWETO or Maropeng, bookable and payable on arrival in Johannesburg.)
The tour ends at approximately 08:00 after breakfast at the accommodation in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Botswana is centrally located in Southern Africa and has a sub-tropical climate. Largely Kalahari Desert, there are sizeable differences between the day and night temperatures and being a semi-desert environment, very limited rainfall. In the Delta temperatures are more moderate due to the abundance of water.
The Okavango Delta provides a lifeline of water in the desert as the summer rains fall in Angola and take 6 months to arrive in the Okavango. Thus the Okavango Delta is actually expanding as the surrounding desert dries out through winter. This phenomenon creates an incredible wildlife spectacle all year round.
Dry season is from May to October: The game viewing is superb and wildlife is very easy to spot.
May:- Autumn temperatures are typically 10°C/50°F to 28°C/80°F.
June, July & August:- Winter morning game drives can be cold at around 6°C/42°F, but it warms to +-25°C/78°F, so dress in layers with a windproof jacket and beanie.
September & October:- Spring begins and temperatures warm up to +- 34°C/100°F. October is the hottest month in Botswana and the migration of the Southern Carmine Bee-eaters is a sight to behold and a must-see for this time of year.
Green season is from November to April: The intermittent rains bring much needed relief to the bushveld, many antelope have their young, and the world around you is brimming with new life. The rains also settle the dust, and the sunlight provides gorgeous photographic opportunities.
November & December:- As the clouds build up this time is typically cooler than October at between 20°C/69°F and 33°C/91°F but there can still be some very hot days. After the first rains the roads can become muddy in places!
January & February:- The Summer or "Green" months, have occasional spectacular thunderstorms in the afternoons. Temperatures are around 32°C/90°F at midday.
March and April:- The waters of the Okavango Delta start to rise and large herds of elephant and buffalo begin to make their way back to the Okavango as winter approaches. Lovely, clear weather and few clouds prevail, but the nights are cooler and the days very comfortable at around 30°C/87°F.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday? Elephant Pool Lodge, Swimming in the pool with elephants so close in the water hole and being in their water hole hide when a heard of elephants were there. 2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday? Read about the places and animals in advance. Follow the advice given by Sunway Safaris in their confirmation literature. The guides know what they are talking about, follow their instructions. Prepare to enjoy a fabulous country, lovely people and the awesome sightings of the animals and birds of Africa. 3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation? Yes we did. We spoke to people working there who were appreciative of tourists, who give them jobs to provide for their families, by being there in a sustainable way. Also we could see how all the people involved are supporting environmental and animal welfare. 4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall? It was an excellent holiday where we had total confidence in our splendid guides and we were lucky enough to see some amazing and rare animal sights as well as having a group of 6 couples from five countries who all got on together very well.
Dear Shaun and Bruce, I travelled from Jo'burg throught Botswana to Victoria Falls with Sunway Safaris for two weeks from July 14 to 27 (with lodge-accomodation). It was a fantastic trip and adventurous holiday! The route was a perfect mix of being on the road, doing game drives, going on bush walks, doing sight-seeing, getting in touch with local people... I also liked the different types of accomodations and the fact that we often spent more than just one night at a place. The whole trip was a unique experience for our small group, which wouldn't have been possible without our guides Chris and Keith. They took care of us in every aspect, made us feel safe, prepared wonderful meals for us, shared their love and knowledge for the countries, the animals and the people with us. The chemistry between the two of them and between them and us tourists made for a great atmosphere among all of us with deep conversations and lots of laughter, too. The description for this tour on your homepage really matched the experiences we made on the way. And I'll definitely consider Sunway Safaris for any future adventures in the Southern part of Africa, hoping to meet Chris and Keith again! Kind regards from Switzerland, Maja
Dear Sirs, I had the pleasure of taking your safari from 31st July to 13th August in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe. In the meantime, thank you for the beautiful things seen and for the variety of places visited, but above all for the extreme kindness of our companions, who despite my poor English, were able to accompany me and look after me during the various stages of the journey in the best possible way. Dear Marcus and big Boss by man, you were fantastic. a big hug . I hope to be able to travel with you again !!!
Google translate: The trip was a really great experience, we were really lucky with our tour guides, competent, friendly, helpful and very responsive to the group. The guides and companions in the Okavango Delta (tent camp) and at the game drives in the Moreni were also experts and gave us correct behavioral instructions so that we could experience many animals "up close". In some lodges / accommodations you can improve the food offer, and the service in the restaurants often didn't work out. And yet: We are back with a lot of enthusiasm and will definitely "go on tour" again with Sunway Safaris!
We had never been on a safari before, so this trip was a real adventure and we loved it! We will definitely travel again with Sunway Safaris when we return to Africa :)
Everything was very well organized. Guides Maxwell & Wayne were amazing, very helpful, cheerful and had answers to all our questions about nature, animals, plants and also culture and geography, one could really tell they liked their job. Food on the road, prepared by the guides with a little help from the group, was always fresh, healthy and tasty, we actually liked it better than any restaurant food we had on the tour. Accommodation facilities were always clean and comfortable, perfect for a good rest after our full days. We really got into the spirit of Africa, taking things one day at a time. Each day was a new and different experience regardless of what we found on the way. The whole safari experience was simply incredible, game drives were really exciting and we saw a lot of animals in the wild. Also loved the fact that we were able to visit Victoria Falls National Park, a real wonder of nature. I was just sad we didn't get to spend more time exploring the salt pans.
Some practical tips: Be open minded and have group spirit. Our group was a mix of ages and nationalities but everyone was willing to help and interact an we got along very well. When you spend 2 weeks with the same people this is really a big part of your experience. On this trip you should not forget your camera and binoculars, a torch for walking at night and, if traveling in winter months, take clothes for hot and cold weather since early mornings and nights are really chilly but during the day it can get very hot.Thank you again and hope we can travel again soon with Sunway Safaris.
“Amazing tour with great guides – Brian + Yotam were brilliant – tour exceeded all my expectations”
“We are back from fantastic safaris in Botswana and want to express our gratitude. It was a most exciting experience. Everything worked out as planned except for the unusual heat! 😊
We saw more animals than we had thought possible and experienced different kind of surroundings like the delta. We really appreciated the kind of camps we stayed at, especially the Tao (?) camp which we used instead of the Hyena Pan camp. We were very sorry to hear that it´s closing down to be replaced by something more fancy.
We would like to thank the staff at the lodges, especially int the delta and at the Tao.
We also want to thank our wonderful guides Brian and Moses (at the Moremi) – such fantastic guys! Thank you again for an amazing experience
Wow, was this a good choice! Botswana is a lovely country to visit - not just the landscape but the people were always welcoming and friendly too. What I was not expecting was the sheer quantity of wildlife that we saw, or how "up close and personal" you get. It seemed that around every corner there would be another herd of zebra or elephants or impala. In this one trip, we saw all of the big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) and also wild dogs, hyeana, crocodile, hippos (many hippos!), countless varieties of antelope, giraffe; the list goes on! The bird life too was incredible. This may also have been due to the time of year that we travelled (late May) - apparently, in high Summer, January/February, you may see less because the grass is so much higher and animals are harder to spot but
Our two guides (Brian as the tour guide und Ngande as our guide in the Moremi Game Reserve) have both a big knowledge of nature, wildlife and culture etc. and were always more than happy to share that knowledge and answer whatever questions we had. Also they made us always feel safe. They are both very professional & experienced and respected wildlife, nature & people a lot! (It´s really appreciated that this is really lived and not only a marketing slogan! And I believe, that they are both personally convinced by that and not simply follow a company-policy.) Both did a fantastic job! Our two drivers (Mike and Lister) did a wonderful job in bringing us safe and on time from A to B. Even on the partially more than bumpy roads with a lot of animals next to or even on the roads... Thanks a lot for that! All of them – guides and drivers – cared a lot, were always interested in all the group members personally and made the whole journey feel like a big family trip :-). It was a pleasure travelling with them. We had a lot of fun whilst exploring Africa. You can be really proud of your team members. They are all very engaged, professional and really nice people – and that makes a big difference :-). The Safari Truck is perfectly equipped with everything you need for such a trip. The accomodations were all nice and some had a much higher standard than expected (e.g. Nata Lodge and Hyena Pan Bushlodge → really beautiful!!!).”Best regards

The holiday was awesome! Sunway couldn’t be faulted and everything went without a hassle. The guesthouse worked wonderfully….they are very nice people! The other 7 people on the safari were great…the group got on incredibly well! The guides were excellent also. People wise it couldn’t have been better either. The delta was amazing and so was Hyena Pan!! The whole trip was not as ‘rough’ as we expected and was the perfect balance of variety for our family….a bit of rough at the delta and luxury at Hyena Pan. We saw a cheetah with big cubs and a leopard with little cubs, wild dogs, and or course all the rest of the list.”Best regards

HI Sunway Safaris, I just wanted to email to tell you what a fantastic time we had on our safari of Botswana to Vic Falls. It was amazing. The accommodation was perfect, the food was great and the scenery and wildlife were amazing. We saw alot of wildlife including elephants, giraffe, wild dogs, zebra, buffalo, 2 lions to name a few. A memorable moment was seeing a leopard with her 2 cubs which we followed for a good half hour or so in Moremi. That was amazing! Also seeing a pack of dogs killing an impala.”Best regards

The holiday was very well run by the local operator Sunway Safaris. Their 2 guides Phumi and Paul were just superb!! The meals they prepared were always excellent and they were continuously anxious to ensure we had a brilliant experience. The first 2 days consisted of a lot of driving of which Phumi did a great job. The highlight of the tour was the Okavango Delta – what a beautiful place!! The camping there was very comfortable and all the other accommodations was excellent. One must mention the people of the area – so friendly, happy to chat and talk about their lives. The local guides were of variable quality, but not as good as our own 2 guides who usually knew much more than they did about the animal we were seeing. Our guide in Moremi and Chobe were excellent. Finally to the animals – exciting encounters with such beautiful animals, sometimes at very close range was just so amazing..
I turned 69 and decided that I was going to do an African safari before it was too late. My daughter and grandson agreed to join me. I knew nothing about Africa or safaris so I started to do some research and it was all very confusing. I wanted a real safari, not day trips out from a 5-star resort. I stumbled across Sunway Safaris and was intrigued with their BOTSWANA WILD PARKS tour. I contacted Sunway and they referred me to Travel Beyond in the US. We finished the 2-week tour in June 2016 and it was unbelievable - exactly the type of tour that I wanted - fun, exciting, roughing it but with comfortable accommodations and great food, knowable and friendly guides and tons of spectacular wildlife. The group of 12 included the 3 of us from the US and 9 others from around the world. The chemistry was great - we laughed for 2 weeks and formed lifetime friendships. Several individuals had allergy issues such as gluten, dairy and my grandson is diabetic. All of the issues were professionally handled by our local guides. The accommodations were rustic but very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the Hyena Pan Bush lodge. The tented lodges were comfortable and the covered deck where we ate our meals sat just 100 ft from a small lake where 30 or so elephants would congregate in the late afternoon. We saw rhino's, hundreds of elephants and hippos, 21 lions and hundreds of other African animals. We even saw a pack of wild dogs from a distance of 20 ft. Marguerite with Travel Beyond in the US, booked the tour, accommodations and flights for us. Travel to Africa is quite confusing and I couldn't have done it without Marguerite's assistance. She is knowledgeable, patient and very responsive. It was a trip of a lifetime with memories that will last forever.
It was a wonderful tour, much better than expected!
Good organised tour with a good combination of camping in the Delta and Lodges, especially Hyena Pan (Moremi)
Trip of a lifetime! Loved seeing the animals and we had great guides.
An absolutely positive outcome. I felt secure and om competent hands right throughout the trip. A fabulous time led by two fantastic guides.
This was a great route and I enjoyed it very much. I especially loved the game drives!
Excellent tour with excellent guides who were fully committed, knowlegeable, positive attitude and always happy!! "Super guides".
The tour was great fun with many great sightings and generally high quality accommodation. Both guides were also great!.
Awesome trip! We loved everything - guides and staff were amazing.

During our recent trip throughout Southern Africa we took an overland wild parks safari from Joburg to Victoria Falls with your company from June 6th through the 20th. The purpose of this letter to inform you of how pleased my family was with our experience, and specifically our two guides, Lloyd and Paul. Lloyd is not only very intelligent and knowledgeable about Southern Africa and its wildlife, but also has the maturity and wonderful people skills that are critical to creating and managing a team of strangers with diverse expectations. Paul is also very knowledgeable of Southern Africa wildlife and was a valued resource in addition to having an energetically positive personality and contagious smile. Together their synergy rivaled such effective teams as Batman & Robin! All kidding aside, we would like to express our gratitude to them for being such a huge part responsible for our wonderful vacation in Southern Africa. We have friends who are considering vacations in Southern Africa and we have recommended the use of your company for their safaris. Please do pass along our thanks to both Lloyd and Paul for a memorable experience

Please say a big big thank you again to Annitta and Cronje for the fantastic Botswana trip that we had with them! It is so far our best holiday we ever had! And we would like to say again a big thank you to this two great an lovable guides!!! Big hug and lovely greetings from Switzerland!
Amazing trip, great memories and learnt a lot. The delta and Moremi were definitely highlights
I loved the new experience. I enjoyed and became educated about Africa. Our guides were people of passion and I enjoyed meeting new people who are now friends.
Tour was of a high standard, especially all of the guides. Very informative and interesting with excellent game viewing.
A very nice tour that was well organised with a very good team of guides. BRAVO to Shadreck and Kalunga.
Great tour! Our guides were exceptional. Full of relevant information and extremely helpful. I would recommend Sunway Safaris to anyone.
Thank you for one of the best vacations in my life. Tour guides are awesome and this is has been an adventure.
Hi! My wife and I have just returned from the above holiday, 'Into the Okavango'. Many thanks as it was truly an excellent trip, we have been to various parts of Africa but this was by far the best.
We saw and did so much including sitting in a Sunway truck whilst 50 plus elephants ate contentedly around us close enough, if we had opened the windows, to touch! They looked at us in the vehicle as if we were in a cage at the zoo. The only problem was that being 23.00 hours and pitch dark nobody could get a decent photograph.
Whilst walking through the bush in the Delta my wife nearly stepped on a snake on the path made by the people ahead including a Botswanan poler guide and a Sunway Guide. They confirmed it was a Puff Adder and though still a juvenile its bite would have been serious. It is, after all, Africa!
We took the flights over the Delta and Victoria Falls, although expensive, were well worth it if only to see just how many hippos come out of the water at about 16.30.
I could go on with stories from every day but this is just to say a big thank you.

The trip was fantastic! Every guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Perfect size group for travel.
I will be telling my friends and family of the value and fun of this tour. The guides were FANTASTIC and when/if I come again, i want to travel with Edwin and Moses.
We had a fabulous time on our trip - could not have been better really - saw 26 lions 6 of whom were male. Also saw 2 leopards, wild dogs, and honey badgers which are apparently quite rare. Jim loved it as well and wants to go back sometime.
It really was an adventure - we watched a pride of 8 lions at night feeding on an antelope I think we stayed a little too long. They were beginning to walk around and we were quite close - one of them came near the truck and gave our south african guide Jaco the eye, then walked around the jeep and eyed the fellow sitting next to him. He was probably still hungry! There were crocodiles in the river and at least 5 hyenas on the other side of the river waiting their turn. We were all happy to get out of there - everyone was pretty pumped up on adrenalin on the drive back to Hyena Camp. It was quite a rush -( we had a professional photographer on our tour and she just didn’t want to leave)

I found this particular holiday hard to convey into words that would give it all justice..
My husband Jarvis lived out in Africa for 3 years as an engineer 30 years ago, and never got around to visiting Africa again until this trip... He covered (Malawi -his cousin was a safari director-retired now)+Namibia+mo st of the South...so it was hard to find a trip to do his experience justice but this one seemed to fit the bill he was amazed, at how organized and hard working and how knowledgeable they were.
However, the guides Chris and Patrick were truly remarkable and made everyone feel special, making time for answering all our questions none stop, cooking wonderful home made food, which was a delight, (I even ate my porridge) said mummy bear!. As a group Chris and Patrick really made and helped us all jell like one huge family, always ready for laughing, both remarkable and got the balance right for all of us... SO WELL DONE TO THE GUIDES, excellent!!!
There are so many highlights I wouldn't know were to start, but one in particular on the last night in the Delta when the locals (polars) sang and we ended up all dancing around the camp fire, it really brought tears to our eyes; they are such humble folk the polar's who canoed us. Canoeing to view the sunset was stunning and the sunrises, with such tranquility, only the sounds of the birds...not only to mention a few euphoria moments we encountered as the list is endless...
The close up of the Lions while in Moremi at Hyena Pan was amazing, and once again the staff were so loving and caring, Joe always MANAGED to make a cup or pot of tea (English ladies) when returning from a game drive, they really took care of our needs, amazing staff at Hyena Pan also... a wonderful setting and lovely accommodation...
Oh and not to forget Chobe amazing cruise and sunsets; Makgadikgadi Pans etc etc. The Heli-plane over the Delta...We did the Cape before this trip on my husbands memory lane and the 'when I' - has now become 'when we...'
It was an amazing trip, the staff the group and above all Sunway delivered a remarkable itinerary, our photographs that will be going on PowerPoint to give talks etc on landscapes, wildlife, sunsets etc .
My husband wishes to go back to Namibia although he did it alone with his truck 30 years ago, I prefer a group and times have changed.. We did have photographic exhibitions from his slides and of course animals haven't changed.
I need some coaxing to get my hubby onto another trip AND NOT HIS SOLO ONES...
To conjure up how the whole trip was out in the Bush, it was like looking at BBC 1-BBC2- Chanel 4 within 5 minutes now I know what David Attenborough must feel like.
My first time in the bush...So thank all the staff and guides etc for all there hard work for making this trip of a life time...AND SUCH A MEMORABLE ONE TOO...I thought South America got under my skin but Africa most certainly has.
Any jobs!!!
Bye from UK best wishes to all Marie & Jarvis Weir
Hi,
I have to tell you, I had a wonderful time on the trip. I loved the Botswana - VIctoria Falls trip. I thought the sights were absolutely incredible.
Kevin and Gerrit did an incredible job organizing and running the trup. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and extremely helpful. The accommodations were clean and comfortable.
It is extremely odd because here in the States, the safari is considered to be the ultimate luxury trip, but what I discovered that you could have a life-changing trip for absolutely incredible.
I would recommend it to anybody.
Best, Demetri, USA
We started the tour in Johannesburg where we saw the group and our guide Meshack and Herman.
The trip to the Okavango Delta was particularly nice. During the nature walk we were close to the animals and the campsite was very beautiful on the waterfront. The polers were very friendly and helpful and the tour by mokoro was one to remember.
In Moremi we saw many animals up close, even a lion with two cubs and a leopard with cub. The tour was very well organized and there was also room for private excursions.
This holiday was a great success. This was also due to our guide Meshack and our drivers Herman and Press. They did a very good job. Meshack was also an excellent cook and told us a lot about the animals and nature. In the evening he entertained us with riddles and told stories about the animals.
We have many pictures of the beautiful nature and the many animals that we saw. We really recommend this trip. Many thanks to Meshack and all the other people for this unforgettable experience.
And of course Sunway Safaris for offering this trip.

Hello,
My wife and I just returned from a magnificent vacation which included the Sunway Wild Parks 14 day accommodated safari from August 4 to August 18, guided by Meschek. We carefully chose this vacation to combine culture, adventure, and wildlife viewing, at a moderate price point.
Sunway far surpassed our expectations. Our guide Meschek was a true professional, who went out of his way at all times to make everything go smoothly. He has a humble, endearing manner that gives him great leadership skills with a group. He is patient, kind, incredibly generous and always shares his quiet, yet great sense of humour. Unlike most tour people, he isn't 'in your face' talking all the time about trivial points everywhere. As a school teacher, I highly recommend this guide.
The lodges and camping experience (on the Okavango Delta) were excellent.
Please convey our warmest thanks to Meschek. He's an excellent ambassador for your company's safari activities. We also thank Sunway for providing us with the trip of a lifetime.
Yours truly,
Glenn and Marylou MacKenzie

We've been back from our "Wild Parks" trip to Botswana nearly four weeks now and I keep meaning to let you know how much we enjoyed ourselves.
Everything went very smoothly and we were delighted by our young guides Ruan and Federica.
Botswana is a beautiful country with friendly and charming people and the tour is a great mix of activities and experiences.

Dear Shaun,
We 've recently returned home after our Botswana Wildside tour starting at 18th dec 2011. I want just want to let you know that the tourleaders Shandle and Kevin, both did a great job. They both made of us feel safe and welcome, cooked very delicious meals, were very good (and entertaining) company and told us a lot about wildlife and local culture.
They organised everything so well, we felt both very relaxed. The tour was fantastic and we couldn't have wished for better guides. It was a wonderful experience. Thanks!

Hi
I just wanted to drop a quick email to thank you for all your help. Our trip was so amazing. "Amazing" is over used, but there just isn't a better word to describe our trip. The game viewing was incredible, the sunsets were breathtaking, and the people were beautiful in every respect. Our group was super fun, diverse and outgoing. We are already talking about "next time." I have a feeling that all future holidays will never live up to this experience. Steve and I will always cherish our photos and memories.
Thank you again!

Hi Guys,
Please see an email I got below from our clients on the Wildparks who have just returned, thanks so much for not cancelling the tour departure as originally planned, pax seemed to have had such a great time !
Arrived home late Wednesday from our fantastic trip. The places we went, the animals we saw and the adventures we experiences were just unbelievable. Neil bungie jumped from the bridge at Victoria Falls, Vic Falls so picturesque and the thunder roar of the water, we had a helicopter ride over the falls, canoed down the Zambezi river with hippos popping up to let us know they were in the water as we canoed by, crocs, elephants, lions, leopards, Giraffes we saw them all and more.Yes, we saw the big five.
Everything went well, more than we expected, fantastic time, Tour guide Jerry & driver Chris were wonderful, we had such a great and memorable time. Thankyou for making our plans happen.
Many thanks from Linda & Neil Harvey, Australia
We are back and had an unbelievably great time! The animal drives were awesome. In Moremi, we came upon a recent Lion kill and spent the next 3 days watching a huge male, female and 2 cubs eat the Buffalo from about 15 feet away. Also, while we were in the Delta, Laura was sitting on the "bush toilet" and an elephant came up to about 20 feet from her and they just watched each other ... lol
We saw everything except a leopard but the entire trip was wonderful. We did almost freeze to death the first night at the Rhino Sanctuary but the rest of the trip, the weather was great.
Also, FYI, nobody even asked about Yellow Fever vaccinations but we were prepared.
Anyway ... thanks for all your help. It was certainly a trip of a lifetime and we will always remember it. (Of course Laura already wants to go back !)SJ Smith, USA
Good afternoon,
My name is Luca Crisanti, from Italy.
I recently spent a couple weeks all around Botswana (Starting Nov 12th in Jo’burg) with one of your tours by truck, guided by PIETER BEZUIDENHOUT and LISSOM TSHUMA. Your colleague MEL READ was also with us.
First of all I want to let you know that everything have been done perfectly to make my holiday really special.
Both Pieter and Lissom were very professional and friendly, and even Mel, though she was on vacation too, has done everything to make our holiday even more beautiful. The sympathy and the ability of these guys were really very valuable!
Since I have to send them some pictures, could you please send me their email adresses, ‘cause I lost them?
Thanks a lot in advance
Kindest regards
Luca Crisanti
“We are back safe and sound and were very well taken care of on our Botswana adventure. Our primary guides (Wayne and Jeff) were knowledgeable, entertaining, understanding, innovative. They kept us well informed as to the plans and expectations for each day and also added some special touches, such as stopping at a village along the way to talk to the children and also tasting palm wine.
The Okavango Delta portion of the trip was indeed the most memorable, not only because of the location, but very much because of the local people who assisted us. Our local guide, Matanta and his second man (sorry, don’t recall name) were great teachers on tracking game, reading the signs… it was very fun and enlightening.
Accommodations were as good or better than expected, including the rough camping. And the permanent tent camps (Moremi area and Nata) were nicer and cleaner than many homes I have visited.
When on game drives, each driver we had seemed to go to great lengths for find the hidden gems. Always amazed me what they could point out. We became stuck twice while heading to camp outside Moremi. Again, the guides were professional in handling the situation but eventually everyone got out to pitch in to “free the Beast”.The other guests were wonderful. Everyone got along well. Clashes in personality or expectation can ruin a trip like this. We had no such problems – a delightful and enlightening adventure.”

“wir sind seit einer Woche wieder wohlbehalten und mit vielen neuen Eiindrücken von unserer Traumreise "Wild Life Botswana" zu Hause angekommen. Es hat alles bestens geklappt, wir sagen herzlich Danke und ich hoffe, das im Laufe der Woche auch mit einer DVD unserer Reiseeindrücke unterstreichen zu können. 1000 mal Danke bis zum nächsten mal!
