I recently joined Sunway Safaris on the 16-day Zimbabwe & Botswana Game Tracker tour. I was incredibly impressed by the organisation, the approach of the company, and the amazing guides. I really think the knowledge of the guides was one of the biggest privileges to have while travelling. They were super well informed and were always present for any question, doubt, or issue. The groups are not big, and with 2 guides for a maximum of 12 travellers, the group size and dynamics are just so comfortable. The focus of this tour really lies in the wildlife tracking and nature experience, with amazing wildlife encounters and locations such as Victoria Falls and the Okavango Delta! During the tour there is a lot of driving to go from point A to point B, but the itinerary really made sense to me nonetheless, as so many highlights and experiences typical for the region were included. But you do need to be prepared for some driving days with bumpy roads. The accommodations are usually standard yet very comfortable lodge/safari-tent style accommodations. We camped for 2 nights in the Okavango Delta, and there the tents were clean, well taken care of, and comfortable too. I really recommend Sunway Safaris if you are looking for a trip through Southern African countries. I really think the package of excursions, accommodations, amazing guides, and transport makes for such a convenient, worry-free way to travel!

We just finished on Sunday a wonderful, outstanding Zambia-Malawi- Mozambique-Kruger trip with Gee and Mike, both of whom were as good as any guides as we’ve had on our 20 camping treks in Asia, the Americas, & Africa!!
Our holiday was everything we hoped for and more! The most memorable part was undoubtedly our incredible guides—knowledgeable, patient, humorous, and kind—who transformed our group into a close-knit family. Truly an adventure.
WE HAD A GREAT TIME, THE BEST SAFARI EVER! Both our Guides, Wouter and Moses have been very much caring for the group. I shouldn’t forget to mention the poler who took us into the Delta! We all enjoyed it very much.

The most exceptional experience. Because of the care and support you provided to ensure I was well prepared, and then the consistently remarkable information and fun that Shandile and Farai gave us, I’ve had an adventure of a lifetime.
There were so many breathtaking moments. Seeing our first herd of elephants marching with their babies was deeply emotional, and spotting our first cheetah was simply incredible. Inhambane felt like a tropical paradise…
I rarely write to comment on our holidays – but felt it was necessary after this experience. From the initial meeting everything has been wonderful. Our guides Willard and Gee were amazing – so helpful and knowledgeable…
After just two days we had already seen the Big Five – including a leopard mother with her cub on foot during a bush walk – and in total 15 rhinos! At every stop along the way, an entirely new and breathtaking landscape opened up before us.
It is beyond doubt that my experience with the guides of this trip would be the primary reason I cannot wait to book my next trip away with Sunway, and am very excited to hopefully be able to request Marcus and Mike again…
Wonderful experience. More than we hoped for. Malawi was absolutely amazing. The walk at Mulanje was a highlight. Kalanga is a superb calm driver and both Kalunga and Alois are knowledgeable and excellent with clients.
The food was healthy, delicious and plentiful both on the road and at our accommodation. The accommodation was much better than we expected and each place had something special going for it.
The whole holiday was amazing. We saw a large variety of animals & birds with expert guides, while enjoying the breathtaking landscapes & sunsets. I couldn’t recommend this trip or company more highly. Thank you!
All the guys are very, very caring about us and our wellbeing, very communicative, funny, knowing their country very well, animals, birds and plants, history, culture, telling funny stories. It was an absolutely fabulous trip…

…Staying in the heart of the Okavango Delta, surrounded by wild animals, was a truly surreal and unforgettable experience. Overall, I would rate this holiday as unforgettable. I can’t wait to go back and experience it all again…
