Norman Zivengwa comes from the fascinating town of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. He is 46 years old and a great lover of nature and conservation. Norman says this of himself: "I have always had a huge passion for nature and I have been fortunate enough to follow my passion for more than 10 years now, guiding safaris around Southern Africa. The diversity of the African people and their history has always been fascinating to explore. Living next to the world heritage site of the Victoria Falls and being able to regularly visit many national parks opens your eyes to view the environment in a different light. This abundance of wildlife inspired me to study environment management and nature guiding when I was much younger. This together with the zeal to know more about the history of the Southern African peoples and their kingdoms has given me a very large book to work with and I really love to share my knowledge of this great continent.
SOUTH AFRICA RAINBOW ROUTE: ”Dear Sunway Team, After a few days at home in Austria, we have reviewed our tour on the Rainbow Route. It was again wonderful days that we were able to experience thanks to them. Whether Kruger National Park, the Drakensberg, Swaziland, the Addo Elephant Park, just to name a few, have been very impressive and beautiful. It's also thanks to a lot of their great guides, Wayne and Norman, who do a great job, always listen to their clients, are always friendly and, last but not least, make very good meals. We have now been traveling with their company for the second time, but we can assure you it was certainly not the last time. We look forward to seeing you again and send Greetings from Vienna" Karin and Thomas Kreuzer, Austria
ZIMBABWE & BOTSWANA GAME TRACKER : ”Dear Sunway Team, just a short feed-back from the Koester Family. We did last year the Game Track with Cloud and Norman. They made our holidays to a great journey we never will forget. They are the best guides we ever had. " Best regards to them and all of you; Dorit, Thomas, Isabel and Elena Köster, Germany
CAPE TOWN TO VIC FALLS: ”My husband and I have just returned from our Southern Africa trip which we booked through KE Adventure here in the UK. I wanted to write to tell you how pleased we were with the trip and how happy we were with our excellent guides Brian Zunza and Norman Zivengwa. We found both guides to be very good company ,knowledgeable, efficient, safety conscious and good cooks into the mix. The trip ran very smoothly and they were consistently considerate whilst at all times being professional and conscious of the time considerations of a long journey and the need for planning ahead. With it being a small group with willing participants in our fellow clients, everything ran as smoothly as possible. The vehicle which we all got to call 'the red elephant' was well up to the task and was maintained well, and driven very well indeed. The accommodation was always of a satisfactory to often very good standard and I never felt uncomfortable or worried about hygiene. My husband and I were very well throughout the trip. The only aspect of the trip which we commented on between ourselves was that we would normally have been more physically active on holiday, but recognise that with the long distances to cover most days the time in the vehicle was inevitable. So thank you for a successful time in Southern Africa, and for providing excellent guides. " Best regards; Joanna Eagle, UK
