Birding on a Namibia Botswana Southern Circle.

R S pied crow.jpg smallHaving traveled on our Namibia Botswana Southern Circle NBa21 in 2015 Richard Stansfield from the UK a keen birder sent us an email to let us know how the tour went. During the tour he was very successful in seeing 226 bird species in 21 days!!

This is record!! Ranging from flamingoes to chats, kingfishers and bee-eaters and eagles it truly was an amazing experience. The guides Greg and Edwin really worked hard at keeping up with bird count and stopped every time something new was seen. Below are some pictures of some of the many birds seen on the trip.

Main picture - Pied Crow

Pictures below in order - African Skimmer, Meyers parrot, Golden Tailed Woodpecker, Malakite Kingfisher, Pearl spotted Owlet, Violet eared Waxbill, White Faced Ducks, White fronted bee-eater.
