Having done a few trips through Namibia I thought it would be nice to write about a few of the highlights one would experience whilst travelling through this arid country. Firstly we have a few tours that run through Namibia being the Cape to Victoria falls CVa21/ & CV21, Namibia Botswana NBa21 & NB21 and lastly our new "Classic" safari the WVac14.
Namibia has the second lowest population density of any sovereign counrty in the world after Mongolia. It has a area surface of 824,292 sq km and has a population of about 2,212,307 million people. It shares its borders with 4 countries being Angola, Botswana, South Africa and Zambia. The rest of its border is with the Atlantic Ocean. The Namib Desert is one of the oldest deserts in the world and is estimated to be between 55 & 80 million years old.
Chris after finishing his South Africa Rainbow Route did a follow on tour being the Cape to Vic Falls CVa21 which leaves from Cape Town and ends in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. He had an experience that most guides will have when travelling North along the A33 in Botswana from Nata to Kasane.
In every person’s life there comes a moment, a moment that has the potential to change a life forever. 23 youngsters aged between 15 and 18 years encountered that moment on Friday morning when two Sunway Safaris vehicles arrived at the Pen organisations office. After a brief introduction by the guides, a safety briefing and signing indemnities the group was split in two to board the two Sunway vehicles. The excitement the kids were feeling was tangible.

Chris just returned from a South Africa Rainbow Route SAag17 German tour and had the following experience in the Kruger National Park on a wet morning departing the park on the road between Lower Sabie and Crocodile Bridge. We were on a morning game drive in Kruger national park when suddenly l saw a big snake from some hundred or so meters.
