Oh wow wow wow!!
Black rhino and a lion pride at a waterhole – what a sighting. So we were on the Full Day Game Drive in Etosha National Park, one of the few mornings we had to wake-up at the crack of dawn… joking, not at the crack of dawn but pretty early. We have a quick breakfast and were on our way to the park by 06h00 because the plan was to be the first ones at the park’s gate when it opened at 0645….yes, as planned we made it (yippee) we were first.
Wessie one of our guides recently did a Namibia Botswana Southern Circle NBa21 tour and has the following to share… We started our trip in Zambia with a visit to the beautiful Victoria Falls which now is even more breath taking with the amount of water it has. After our days in Livingstone we headed off to Namibia to start our adventures in the Caprivi.
We went on a boat cruise on the Kwando River, our guide was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about his culture and how marriage works. He showed us how to make a lovely traditional necklace with the water lilies that the bride and groom wear on the wedding.

Here we spend two days doing game drives around the various routes around the park trying to find animals of all types. The Kruger National Park is renowned for big game viewing offering the big 5 just to name a few, in an area of around 20 000 square kilometres. On our second day in the park, we were lucky enough to spot lions at a distance, spotted hyenas, hippos, crocodiles and various antelope during the morning.
