Gee Ndlovu My love and passion for nature started over 20 years ago when I lived in the beautiful resort town of Victoria Falls. My guiding career started in 2007 through researching, reading and learning more about the environment and the importance of conservation. I use all my knowledge and skills acquired as a safari guide in Southern and east Africa to facilitate a deeper and unique understanding of the natural world for guests, clients or travellers. Not only to take photos but to have a clear understanding of the environment and the attractions. Sunway provides a very excellent base for a Safari guide to grow in the industry in every area. I’m approachable, knowledgeable, professional, attentive, respectful and willing to learn more. I also extend my passion, love and enthusiasm towards flora and fauna to each and every individual that I rub shoulders with. Safety, courtesy and efficiency come first to me as a safari guide.

Collen Horayi

Collen Horayi grew up in a small farming town of Mvurwi, Zimbabwe. He later moved to the resort town of Victoria falls. He got a job as a kitchen porter then got promoted to be a cook at Elephant Hills Resort and Conference Centre. Being in the hotel industry for about five years fuelled his love for tourism industry. As if that was not enough, he developed a love for French as he kept on meeting French people at buffets every evening. So the next move was to enrol for French studies at a local school. One of his uncles, Auther, a tour guide in Victoria Falls greatly inspired him and encouraged him to go for a certificate in tour guiding at the University of Zimbabwe. Collen loves adventure and outdoors. Sunway Safaris gives that with several tours, especially the Zimbabwe- Botswana as it takes him to Okavango Delta and Victoria falls. Okavango Delta is his favourite destination because it's close and personal with nature.

Ishmael My name is lshmael Dube. l was born and bred in Zimbabwe in a small tourist town called Victoria Falls. Being raised in the Falls boosted my passion and love of nature. After completing my studies in nature, l started my career by joining a company called Dingani Tours as a guide. MARCUS NDEREKI

Marcus My name is Marcus Ndereki. Born in Zimbabwe in the city of Kings and Queens called Bulawayo, a place of rich history and surrounded by popular heritage sites. I however did my primary and secondary school including my tertiary education in Kariba. I love dancing (though I’m bad at it), I love nature - taking photos and game rides, am a good listener, observant and keen to learn. I see myself as a team player. I possess a personality that enables me to interact respectfully across different cultures, race, creed and backgrounds. Most importantly I value the preservation of nature and its history. I believe every plant and animal specie depends on the human species for its survival, this made me take on nature guiding professionally. Therefore I am taking baby steps towards informing the world about the beauty of its nature, through Sunway safaris.

SCENIC ROUTE SA18 " Dear Sunway Safaris. We have just returned from this brilliant safari tour with Sunway in South Africa.This was our second Sunway safari and it did not disappoint. We filled in our feedback forms which hopefully has made its way back to you but I do feel I need to follow this up with an e mail to praise the professionalism care and attention given throughout by your two tour leaders Mayibongwe and Marcus under what was on occasions very difficult circumstances. There was only 4 of us on this trip. Myself and my husband and 2 Russian clients, father and a daughter. Unfortunately these other travelers did not make it easy for Mayibongwe and Marcus as they were rather awkward, selfish, and clearly seemed to be on the wrong type of trip. As they did not speak much English communication became rather a problem and they certainly tested the patience of all concerned caused by the continual interference and unhelpful approach they seemed to adopt. Please pass on our thanks to Mayibongwe and Marcus for making our holiday so enjoyable, they are both a credit to your organisation."Caroline & Robert.

TRADE ROUTE LM22 "Hello Sunway Safaris, We have just returned back to England after a fabulous 20+ days with Shandle and Marcus. Both were excellent tour guides but I just wanted to pay an individual tribute to Marcus. Throughout the tour, he worked so hard every day! His main focus after supporting Shandle was to make sure everyone was having a good time. He was fantastic with our two boys who both took to him really well and developed a good relationship with him as the time went on. He made a significant contribution to our enjoyment with his easy approach and great knowledge about the plants and animals we encountered.

If I'm honest, there were times that I found some of the other guests a little difficult. But he remained professional throughout and treated every one with equal importance. He is a real asset to your company. Please pass on our thanks to him! ."Gordon Heath, UK.

WINDHOEK TO VIC FALLS WVAC15 " I traveld with this 2 lovely boys from 20 Oktober till 4 November. It was a very nice tripp, good organised. Chanley and Marcus , were very prepared in their job. Wenn their was a problem with 1 of the guests, they were always prepared to find the good solution for him or her. Both boys helped me a lot, I was 1 of the oldest people (78 years) . Chanley dedicated me a lot of his free time, to help me find juwelery and a lot of other things. He brought always my heavy lucage in my room. On the road he ,even as Marcus, could tell the name of the birds, threes, animals we saw. Marcus, just like Chanley, offers his free time when it was necessary, to help 1 of the group. He show me the Victoria falls, walking slowly. We made pictures, he dedicated me all his free time. He take always care of me when there was a street or way which was difficult to walk for me. Oh yes, he was there any moment. My Inglish is not very good but I hope you understand, that you have 2 golden boss at your service. I thank sunway-safaris that I had a wonderfull time. Greetings." I want to congratulate with you for the selection of lodges and beautiful places you allowed me to visit but especially I want to congratulate with you for our guides. We have been guided by Shenly and Markus and I can say that we could not have had better guides. They have been professional, caring, proactive, smart. They know a lot about the places that we have visited. They are great cookers and very well equipped and organized. They have gone much beyond my expectations and for any next trip I will book with you, they will definitely be my first choice as they made the difference for this trip. Despite being a varied group with different ages, they have done their best to accommodate everybody with their request. CLOUD TSHUMA

Cloud My name is Cloud Tshuma born in a place called Hwange, Zimbabwe. I went to School at Nechilibi High which is situated along the Hwange National Park . I finished my secondary level in 2007, because my parents could not afford to take me further with my studies I stayed home looking after my parents livestock in the bush until 2010. They decided to send me to South Africa. When I arrived in SA I worked as a Camp assistance at a private game lodge. Here I had the opportunity to study nature because we stayed on the property with the wild animals. I did my nature studies here. I progressed and achieved my guiding qualification and worked as a nature guide for 4 years. I then joined Sunway Safaris because of a diversity of experiences which the company offers as well as to expand my knowledge.

WALKING SOUTH AFRICA: ”Great safari, bush walks and hiking! Our hiking tour through South Africa, Swasiland an Zululand was wonderful. Our guides Colly and Cloud from Sunway did a fantastic job spotting moving rocks as animals from far away, sharing all their huge knowledge about wild animals, history and living conditions with us and showing us very beatiful scenery on our hiking tours. They are very kind guys, well organised, excellent cooks and deal with all upcoming questions in a way everybody can feel well.The accomodations were fine, it´s a good idea to stay two nights and than move on to the next. The small group of five made the bus to our mobile living room.
