Unexpected visitors

Nkwazi Lodge .jpg smallCarina returned last week from a Namibia Botswana Southern Circle NBa21 and had something interesting to share about the tour.. Everyone always wants to see the Big 5 on their African Safari. But sometimes it is not the big animals that make up for the best sightings but rather the smaller unexpected visitors that you meet on your safaris.

We started our safari in Livingstone Zambia and then traveled into the Caprivi strip of Namibia. We had seen a lot of different animals but the unexpected visitor in Inkwazi Camp near Rundu made a memorable moment. While having dinner at our lodge dining room that night we had someone special joining us as well.

Botswana Baobabs Classic journey

This classic itinerary offers a lodge and luxury camping combination safari. The lodges are beautiful, comfortable & make for a great adventure safari though the world famous parks.
The accommodation throughout this classic journey is of 3 to 4 star style and are chosen not only for their service and comfort level but also for their wonderful locations and local wildlife viewing opportunities. All rooms have private en suite facilities. For the 2 nights in central Chobe NP we stay in mini meru tents. Each tent has twin camp beds with linen and en suite chemical toilet and bucket shower with hot water off the fire.

Kruger Elephant

Kruger elephant.jpgsmallGreg having just returned from a recent Zimbabwe Botswana Game Tracker ZBa16 had this experience to share. The tour runs from Johannesburg to Johannesburg and visits the highlights of Kruger National Park, Zimbabwe & Botswana. Day 2 finds us in Kruger National Park driving from Letaba Camp to Pafuri Gate. Our day started very well, from seeing giraffe and zebra to seeing two clans of hyenas on separate occasion’s right next to the road.

Sunway Safaris started with 1 mini bus and now has a fleet of custom built safari trucks, offices in South Africa and Botswana and run over 300 departures every year on 21 different routes in 10 countries.
