Having just returned from our post Indaba agents fam trip I Dirk had to share this wonderful experience. We started in Vic falls, Zimbabwe and had an afternoon walk at the might Victoria Falls.
This is something that needs to be experienced if heading to Africa. While it is neither the highest nor the widest waterfall in the world, Victoria Falls is classified as the largest, based on its combined width of 1,708 metres and height of 108 metres resulting in the world's largest sheet of falling water.
Annitta our Zimbabwean German speaking guide just got back from a Cape to Vic CV21 camping tour and wanted to share the following.. My last tour was a Cape Town to Victoria falls camping tour, I was quite excited to go on this tour because of the fantastic geological locations our Namibia camping tours visit and this tour delivered that and more. For example we stay at Spitskoppe, sitting at 1,728m above see level it was first scaled only in 1946, and its shape has inspired its nickname, The Matterhorn of Africa. Camping here is a must when visiting Namibia as it has something truly special about it which is hard to explain.. You need to see it and stay at its base to understand what i mean!!
Starting a 21 day tour from Cape Town to Victoria Falls, both Jeff and I Stefanie made sure our clients were well prepared for this journey and making it clear to them that the motto is actually fact: it’s not a holiday, it’s an adventure! But neither of us could have foreseen just how much this was about to come true on this tour.
On a recent private Zimbabwe Botswana Game Tracker tour Sfiso and Annitta where lucky to have a group that was interested not only in the animals or tracking the game as the tour is aptly named but in an all rounded cultural and culinary experience.
