When Edwin heard he was doing a Botswana Baobabs BPac09 he was very excited as he had done one before and really enjoyed this style of travel. He had the following to write about.
It all started on a wet Monday morning driving to Khwai Batoka airstrip to meet our clients who were arriving by plane from Maun. For myself and Jami the Botswana guide it was a usual day at the office, but for our lovely clients it was the beginning of a well-planned African excursion throughout Botswana’s wilderness in search of the pristine abundance of game found in this part of southern hemisphere.
A long standing South African tradition on weekends is an afternoon braai (barbeque) with family and friends. It is a past time that has been passed down from generation to generation where family recipes become braai time favourites. You have not experienced a true South African braai if one of the favourite sides missing is freshly baked roosterbrood (braai bread).
Jacque's just returned for a Mozambique & Kruger Beach & Bush MOa14 and had the following to share from his trip. Mozambique is a wonderful place with friendly people and plenty of seafood fresh from the Indian Ocean.
Day one was a long day traveling from Johannesburg to Hluhluwe. When we arrived at our destination we were all welcomed by the staff at Zulu Land Lodge as if we have been there many times before. We had time to go to the tents and relax before an amazing dinner prepared by the chef.
When I (Dirk) was still a guide I had the privilege of doing the Trade Route LM22. Heading into Northern Zambia and Malawi was a first and all I can say is Wow! What an experience!! William completed one of these awesome tours and had the following to write.. This is I would say was one of the great tours that Sunway Safaris offers and one that you would love to do again and again…
