Collen Horayi

Collen Horayi grew up in a small farming town of Mvurwi, Zimbabwe. He later moved to the resort town of Victoria falls. He got a job as a kitchen porter then got promoted to be a cook at Elephant Hills Resort and Conference Centre. Being in the hotel industry for about five years fuelled his love for tourism industry. As if that was not enough, he developed a love for French as he kept on meeting French people at buffets every evening. So the next move was to enrol for French studies at a local school. One of his uncles, Auther, a tour guide in Victoria Falls greatly inspired him and encouraged him to go for a certificate in tour guiding at the University of Zimbabwe. Collen loves adventure and outdoors. Sunway Safaris gives that with several tours, especially the Zimbabwe- Botswana as it takes him to Okavango Delta and Victoria falls. Okavango Delta is his favourite destination because it’s close and personal with nature.
