Lucky Mhlanga
My name is Lucky Mhlanga born in a small coal mining town namely Hwange. Because we were in a mining town all of friends had a dream of working in the mine. Myself l had fallen in love with guiding. Tourists used to pass by going to Hwange National Park, they brought presents like books and toys for us. This gave me great love for Tourists. After my ordinary level in 2015 l got a job in Victoria falls as a shelf packer at Fortwel Wholesales. After work l would go for my guiding lessons.
After acquiring my license, l thought of icing my cake by studying the German language. I started by working for DK tours around Vic falls. Later l got privileged to work under Sunway Safaris, travelling Southern Africa, sharing my knowledge with Tourists. l have matured to a greater extent under Sunway Safaris.

Cape to Vic Grand Explorer
We were participants on your tour from Cape Town to Victoria Falls from June 3 to 23, 2026. Our tour guides were Ishmael and Lucky. Although we were a bit skeptical at first when we booked this trip—wondering whether the meal preparation would work out and what it would be like to travel in a group for such a long time—we ended up absolutely thrilled with the trip.

I’ve been on tour with friends this year. It was a very nice, fun, instructive and exciting trip. Our guides Ismael and Lucky are a perfect team and were a perfect match for us. The two of them made the trip an unforgettable experience for us. You can tell that they enjoy this job very much. They were able to tell us a lot about flora and fauna.
